Are you on any medication that might be causing this? I have fibromyalgia and am on Lyrica, I had to reduce the dosage because I was having the same problem. I still have a bit of it but not as bad as before.

Bone X-ray was negative. Foot and Ankle Dr. said I had Plantar F. Wanted me to have Physical Therapy 2wk/3wks. After 5 PT. Pain is worse than before. So, Dr. had me get an EMG. thinking there might be nerve damage (Tarsal Tunnel). That test was not showing any nerve blockage. So, not sure as to what is exactly wrong. Like I said before. the bottom of my foot doesn't really hurt when I'm sitting down. Just hurts when I get up to walk. THe longer I sit down, the worse the pain is my foot when I get up to walk.

Ask your doc, it could be the Gabapentin, but I am not sure.
