About every 2 years I go to a dermatologist for good measure. I am 55, ride a motorcycle x 30 years and live in California. Last year my dermatologist sent cell scrapings from what I thought was a “beauty mark” on the left side of my nose. It came back positive for cancer. He ended up excising deep into the tissue removing about the size of a olive next to my nose, below my eye. 48 stitches inside and 22 outside. It’s noticeable but such r the scars of life…I’m alive, using lots of sun screen :):):)
