I read somewhere that at least 18 months between having a baby and getting pregnant again is ideal for your body. As for spacing between kids, I've heard alot of mixed reviews. My sister-in-law has only 22 months between her boys, and says that 2 years is good because they entertain each other and are into the same things, but she also says when they fight they really fight. A friend of mine has her two 3 years apart and says that's a good gap too, because they still play together, but don't fight as much. My DH is 4 years younger than his sister, and they get along great, and he's 10 years younger than his other sister and she's more like a mom to us than a sister. So, I think there's no right answer to tell you the truth! My DH and I are planning on TTC in Septmeber and our son will be 18 months old at the time. He'll be 2 and half when the baby is born is we get pregnant right away. I think it's whatever works for you. If you keep waiting until you feel ready thouh, you may never actually feel ready. Good Luck!

my daughter is going to be 2 in a month and my hubby and i are ttc. so if we concieve soon dd will be 3 a few months after we have the baby. i think thats a perfect age apart. my brother and i were 4 years apart and we didnt get along every well. but everyone is different. i honestly think you're at the perfect age b/c you can teach your son about the baby and hes kinda out of that jelousy "i'm the baby" stage. thats the only thing i'm worried about w/ my daughter. good luck to you!
