I can't get into the doctors until early next week and I am freaking out which they know. I have had decreased urine output since this weekend. My urine isn't cloudy or even colored and there is no pain at all. My urine output is half and I don't feel the urge to go I force my self to go. I took an azo last night just to see if I could get some color to it, I took 1 pill instead of the 2 and my pee was dark yellow for about 20 hours, like I took 2 pills. I am freaking out. This came on suddenly. I thought I had a uti coming on so I upped the fluid intake and started to drink gatorade but nothing changed. Am I just being a worry wart?

Well I went in and begged them to get me in. Well the Dr said that there is no infection and my urine is clear. He put me on azo to see if I have a spastic bladder or if I have sludge build up. What is next if it don't work? He was doubtful that I wasn't voiding all the way maybe I just feel like I still need to go but don't. Well how do I explain that I know the difference in my body. I am used to feeling urgency but now I don't feel the urge to go but when I do it feels like I need to keep going because I only pee a teaspoon every 4-6 hours. I drank like 5 cups of cranberry juice last night but have only urinated a cup since then. I am confused and scared....

Is the Dr. you saw a Urologist? If so, he doesn't sound too caring. Can you go see a different Urologist? I wish you well.

No it was just a GP. I am thinking of going into the ER at least they can run test with out me having to drive back every day for a new test. I hope it is nothing and I will be fine but I keep scaring my self. I have insurance that lets me see any kind of doctor as long as they are part of the network so may e I will try a urologist.

Kidney specialists are actually nephrologist's, if it's your kidneys that you suspect. Typically kidney function problems show up in urine and blood analyisis which your gp could test for, if he didn't already.

The ER is a good place to go if you can't get in to see a specialist right away.
