It is a natural enzyme that occurs in dairy products and certain kinds of fish like bonito. Allegedly, its actions mimic those of ACE inhibitors without the side effects. There are no large scale studies on the efficacy of this supplement, but a fair number of small-sample ones that indicate a BP lowering effect of 6-11 mm. Some of these studies have indicated the effect occurs as rapidly as two hours after taking the peptide.

There appear to be no known side effects. Worth reading up on, and certainly asking your doctor about. NOT cheap!
