I would appreciate some feedback on a product that detects blood in the stool. It is called EZ detect, and I purhcased them at Walgreens. Is this product reliable, or any of these home tests that check for blood in the stool?
Thanks

I have no idea about this product, but if you have blood in your stools you should certainly go and see a doctor about it. It could be something like heamarrhoids, but then again, it could be something more serious such as inflammatory bowel disease.

Thanks for the reply Sarah,
I have not noticed any blood on my stool, but I wanted to check for blood in my stool. I have less developed stool, and they are a little thinner. I just wanted to make sure.
Thanks,
Kurt

If I were you I would not really worry about this at all. The change in your stools is very probably to do with your diet. Differences is diet can make everyones stools to vary at times.

Hey sarah,
I have a quick question I was hoping you could answer. How long is "acceptable" to have thin or irregular stool?
Thanks
