There is no way to determine from whom you may have contracted HPV unless of course you've only been with one person in your life and never had any other sexual contact. Otherwise since HPV can remain dormant for years without showing symptoms there is no way to tell at what point you got it. Some people have been in monogomous relationships for decades and suddenly during a stressful time in their lives, get diagnosed with HPV. Is it likely that they had it all along and the stress on the immune system caused it to become active, probably (as is testified to in many posts here).
