My finger started swelling recently (maybe 3 days ago), and I just noticed redness tonight. It looks like blood spots underneath my skin. What is this and what do I do??? I googled my symptoms, and what stood out to me was Cellilitus(?) I'm unaware of the spelling, but it sounds like something I might have. I've never heard of this.

Could be an allergic reaction to something you have your hands in.
Have you changed dishwashing liquid ? Laundry detergent? any other changes?
Used any new hand lotions, hand creams, topical medications?
Sometimes something can get underneath the fingernail and cause a reaction where rest of hands are not bothered.
Try soaking your finger in liquid anahistamine and see if it helps.

Could you have been bitten by a spider, or an insect? Did it have a sudden onset? If you find the pain or redness spreading up your finger, you need to see a doctor. Good luck
