Cowgirl,
Good luck with your clomid. I also have pcos and my dh and i have been ttc for 10 1/2 years now w/o luck. I was put on clomid 100mg right off the bat and took it for 6 months w/o luck. I have heard that it does work for many but for me it did not. i am now on clomid again along with follistim shots and then ovidrel shot and are trying iui next week. i told the dr that it didn't work the first time i took it and he said that i wasn't on the combination of medications that i am on now and he feels confident that the iui will be successful. I hope it does work for you as it is one of the less expensive medications and that would be awesome. The only side effect i had was it made my cysts bigger and slightly painful around the time of my af but it was tolerable for me. after i started af then they went down a little and the pain went away.
