The pain of a stone moving down the ureter can be excruciating. If the stone stops moving, the pain stops too. I've had many stones over the years and know that pain all too well. Have you made an appt. with a Urologist? That would be the best thing to do in my opinion. My Urologist is in Poway, so not too far away from you. I hope you'll see a Dr. for the proper diagnosis and pain relief. Good luck. Sue

What do you mean by moving pain? When you have a kidney stone, its just a localized pain, and its EXCRUCIATING in most cases. if your feeling the pain moving around to different areas, that doesnt sound like a stone. Another way to tell if its a stone, is you will feel like you need to pee REALLY bad, but in actuality nothing comes out.
