Sorry for being so rude and opening my first thread and getting right in to asking the question but I am quite concerned.

I woke up this morning and went to get ready and on the shaft of the underside of my penis there was a big red bump which looked just like a spot, i didn't know what it was so started looking, i put some pressue on it and white substance came out of it, like the stuff that comes out of spots on the face etc, but I thought surely you couldn't get a proper spot there.

Thought it was better just a bit red went to work and during lunch i went to the loo as needed and had another look still looked awful big so i put more pressue on it and a lot of white stuff came out this time, came home went for a bath and had a better look, managed to get i think most of the white stuff out and now i am just left with an open red cut.

Please someone give me some advice, I am scared to go to the docs

Maybe an infected hair follicle? If it doesn't start to get better soon, you will need to see a doctor. There are worse things in life than seeing a doctor!

Does this also happen to women? cos i also got a pimple-like on the lip of my V - outside. i am not sexually active but i am concerned about it and m scared to go to the doctor also. yesterday it burst and some liquid came out and today its almost gone

The penis and vulva are both skin, so anything that can happen to the skin on the rest of your body can happen there. Generally, if white pus comes out of something that looks like a pimple, it's probably not an STD. It is probably just something like a pimple or clogged hair follicle and should go away in a couple days. If it persists, of course, you should definitely go to the doctor to ensure it's nothing to worry about.

I would like to thank people here for the advice as it is certainly going down, I may have panicked over nothing.

Sounds like just an infected hair which is all pretty normal stuff. Just keep the area clean washing in morning and evening with soap and water(shower) No sex until completely healed. If it doesn't heal with in a couple weeks then you will have to go to the doctor for an antibiotic but see if you can just heal it yourself by keeping it clean.
