Okay so I need to go to the obgyn but I am terrifed.
I've had vaginal bumps for a couple years now. I was told about 3 years ago that I had bacterial vaginosis and my ph balance was off by an std clinic. They gave me some pills and cream and everything cleared up. The itching and burning came back. I then thought that maybe I had a yeast infection and just tried over the counter stuff. I haven't had any major problems other than itching and slight irritations every couple months. My periods are still normal and I haven't had any unusual pain. I didn't have health insurance for the last couple years and I just got it and I know that I need to go get checked out but I'm absolutly terrifed of finding something bad out. I feel like I'm the only person in the world that let this go so long without making sure it isn't something more serious like HPV and I certainly don't want to hear that I may have cancer.
Has this happened to anyone?? Is there hope that it may not be as serious as I'm anticipating??
