Hi all, I just wanted to sort of take a minute to find out if anyone seems to be having more problems with D or C due to the stress of the current war situation. Seems like my symptoms are on high alert no matter what I am eating these days. Trying relaxation techniques, but they aren't helping to much at the moment. Any natural suggestions for some temporary anxiety relief?
Thanks in advance

These are unusual times when you can see such graphic details unfold all during the day on many TV channels.

I don't get stressed out now but as an Army Veteran --- of a pass War--- I do get that uneasy feel in the pit of my gut that does not seem to go away.

Many years have past since I was that 20 year old soldier but I guess I'll never forget the feels that are re-newed---

Rogue I wish you well and pray that you can get the stress under control.
I have learn how to meditate--- that I am more that a Victor with God's help!!!

If you are getting kind of 'twitchy' and anxious, with that can't sit still feeling and you have a constant upset stomach, then I would suggest that you take the homeopathic remedy ARG NIT in a 6 or 30x. You should be able to get it from a heathfood store and it is worth a try if the other things are not working at present. It is one of the major remedies for anticipatory anxiety or just general anxiety. The other possible remedy is GELSEMIUM, but this is more for feeling frozen to the spot and is good for stage fright.

However, from what you have described, I would say that the Arg Nit should work better for you.

Good luck.

We all can't help but to get some daily exposure to the war situation. However, it would probably be helpful if you limited your personal exposure time to news reports and try to make those reports earlier in your awake cycle you so you will have other activities to take to bed with you.
Try to clear your mind and your stimulus space at least an hour before bed time.
Read something optomistic. Watch a funny movie.
Bring something inspirational like music into your sensory zone so at least before you go to sleep you have filled your mind with good and hopeful images with which to feed your inner garden.
If we don't bring in a good amount of counter balance
into our personal space there is not much that helps to put us in a different state of mind.
And basically, that's what one needs when dealing with overwhelming conditions such as the world around us.
Peace out,
kat
