This is my first post,
I am a 21 year old female who is in need of help and advice .

I have recently been diagnosed with IBS, after being in and out of the hospital with stomach pain, and fevers, they did test after test and I saw specialist and no one could figure out what was wrong till I was out of the hospital and I got really bloated (like 2 ½ inches sticking out) they thought I might have it. After then I have had nothing but problems I have tried all of their meds the anti spasms meds where you should only take 1 or 2 I have to take 3 sometimes 4 just for any type of relief
Then it only last for like maybe 1 hour or so, I am also on the zelnorm and its not helping much either, on Monday night I had another attack my stomach got really bloated again and I was in so much pain I couldn’t move if I did I got stuck, I got taken to a walk in clinic and they sent to me emergency, where they did an x-ray and said that I had bowl in my tract all on my right side they said it was completely full and set me home now 3 days later the swelling has gotten worse and the pain also, I have tried heating pads and they don’t work hot tub isn’t working either, as well as the meds , I talked to my doctor today and he said I just have to deal with it,
I am really out of ideas has anyone else gone though this, no one out here seems to think its that serious but they don’t know what I am going though, I am told a lot its all in my head,

The one thing that concerns me is you said you get fevers. Fevers are NOT a symptom of IBS. You should have some tests at a Gastroenterologists.
