I swallow a Gas-X or mylanta gel-tab before I eat to prevent gas pains http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/eek.gif. I was told that Altoids work also......Has anyone tried it? Do you have any other "Tricks" that work?

Quite a few people use Altoids because of the peppermint oil in them. I always keep a tin in my purse.

You have to be careful of the amt. you take though, as too much can give you heartburn.
