This is my first time posting to this forum and if I'm in the wrong place, please forgive me. I didn't see a topic for colon questions. Has anyone heard of, or tried, an all-natural colon cleanser called "Sculpt 'n Cleanse" colon cleanser. I've been doing some reading on this topic and am totally confused on the type of detox system to use. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I totally disagree with Rose; medical doctors do not believe in colon cleansing and they have no clue as to how to help your body heal itself and get into proper balance. They only know how to treat a disease protocol and they only know a few methods even for doing that (i.e. drugs or cutting).

I have started using Dr. Richard Schulze's Intestinal Cleanser #1 formula and read his short book on colon health. So far it seems to be working fairly well. But formula #2 is where the real cleansing takes place, and I am working my way toward that.

Never heard of the one you mentioned. However, I do need to say that when using an intestinal cleanser, do proceed carefully, as sometimes a person can be allergic to one or more of the ingrediants in the cleanser. I tried one from Rainbow Light once and had to go back to them for a refund, as the first and only time I used it, I had abdominal cramps that were pretty bad. But if you find a good one that works well with your body, that will be great.

Cheers,
Al

Thank you RageofAngels and Roseamb for your response. I am definitely interested in a colon cleanser and I will do more research.

graycottage,
Welcome to healthboards!!!
I lived in North Augusta for over 30 years. Gee, what a small world.

Be careful with colon cleasing. I think it should be done under the care of a health care professional. It can release toxins and antigens that are re-absorbed that can cause problems that may be difficult to deal with???
Please do your research?

God Bless and Happy Easter--Harry

Yes, do your reading first before undertaking this. It is great and you will feel a whole lot better for it afterwards, but try and do a lot of reading up on it yourself or be guided by an ND or other alternative healthcare practitioner.

Good luck
