hi i was jus wondering if any one with irritable bowel syndrome has the same symptoms as me here are some

small round stools sometimes with mucus
lump in left side of abdomen
straining during bowel movements
no abdomen pain or rectal pain

also i was wondering if any one whos ibs started, did they bleed once or twice then start having problems???

If you look next to your posting, you will see Harry's post: Worth reading for IBS'ers, I think you will find it helpful, it lists the criteria for ibs, and as you will see, it varies from person to person.

Have you been diagnosed as ibs? Have you had the gluten tolerance test? I guess the best advice I can give you is to read the postings, listen to your doctor, if you have not already, see a GI specialist & ask for tests. By the way, I have half your symptoms when it isn't controlled, & add a few of my own. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

But, reading this forum, there are a great many who have all your symptoms & add a few of their own.
