Hi Snow,

I did see on a web site that this is a symptom . I was also told it is a symptom of Arthtitis it is also a symptom of allergies.

I was dx with this condition last year. I went for my yearly eye exam and my doctor said wow your eyes are dry !! I told the doctor that my left eye constantly tears, and he siad that is due to the dry eyes. I am on eye drops and some ointment for it.

A couple months later had my first visit with my rhumy and he asked me do I have any issues with dry eyes? I said..I was dx with that from my eye doctor a few months ago ! The ruhmy said that can be one of the symptoms of Arthritis. This was before the Fibro came into play with me.

Try over the counter eye drops and see your doc and ask about maybe a prescription eye drop.

Hi,

There is a dry eye thing called Sicca Syndrome, I think that's how to spell it.

My eyes are dry, but yet when I lie down they tear and run down the side of my face. I have had a handful of times in over 17 years that the tears are so salty that they actually have burned they outer corners of my eyes on the skin. It'll last 2 or 3 days and then be gone.

I use liquid tears also and it helps a little.
