I have consulted two doctors concerning pcos. They both told me this is why i have been unable to get pregnant. I'm vey curious about pcos. For one every thing that i read and the doctor has told me makes no sense to why they would have said i have pcos. For one i have not been irregular for about 6 years now. Until they started me on the metphormin. It messed up my cycle and now they did blood work this past sunday and it ccame back that i did not ovulate on the 21st day of my cycle. I am very woories of why this has happen and if it is normal with the pcos.

Irregular periods are just one of many signs of PCOS. Hair loss, acne, growth of hair on your face or coarser and more hair on legs, armpits etc. Also, even if the signs of mild or barely detected cysts on your ovaries by an ultrasound, as well as blood work related to your hormones can detect PCOS. Ask your MD about how they made the diagnosis its your best bet.

I asked the doctor that and the only thing they were able to explain was because of my insulin level being high. It really does not make since. I'm very confused about it.
