Can having a UTI at the time of bloodwork affect your GFR? I had my blood drawn on a Monday and was diagnosed with a UTI on Thursday of the same week. My GFR is 51 and Creatinine 1.2.

My hunch is that one test does not automatically infuence the other. One is searching for infection, the other kidney function. I would shoot a call over to your doctor, just to make sure.
