Ever since I can remember I have had dreams, still I dream every single night and remember each one. Also, I know when I am dreaming and can alter my dream to my desire to an extent. There is still the element of confusion and moments in my dreams where I try and alter the situation, but suddenly feel as if the situation is real... Needless to say since I do this and dream every night
My dreams are intense, very intense and I have a difficult time getting up in the morning. Occasionally I have the "dream" dream that goes in an dout all night and I dont really get a chance to do what I want to with it, while I'm sleeping... Does anyone else have this? I love it. I love falling alseep because I look forward to this. It's like having a fantasy that feels real, at least while sleeping...

Yes, it's called lucid dreaming. Everyone can do it, or learn to do it, but some just have a talent for it. I've had lucid dreams on and off since I was a child.
It certainly makes sleeping more interesting!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. No words can convey the amount of strength I wish for you. It's not easy having to face these issues and I hope you are not alone.
I cant really say how I am able to go into this Lucid dream state, since I was little at some point while dreaming, I just suddenly realize it and go from there. Sometimes its a battle to keep control of the dream so I go in and out of the awareness. Now that I have been doing this so long (I'm 26) it seems like the older I get the faster and longer I gain control of my dreams. It does take me a while to fall alseep, but I always do.... it could be that I am looking so forward to falling in this sleep and focus completely on it while in bed that my brain has wired itself over the years to do this automatically. I dont always lead the entire dream though, because mostly the scene and situations are already happening... BUT there has been a couple occasions where I have fantasized about what I was hoping to continue in my dream and it carried through into sleep... But this is very rare. Because I sleep like this I have a terrible time getting up in morning, because it really exhausts a lot of my mental energy through out the night.

hey , yes my husband pass In Nov 8. and the night before my daughter which is 27 had a dream about a train station and Wally her brother which commented sudice a few years ago. which we have no closures on that. another long story. was there and he came running up to her and 2 guys took in away. and also that same night . My hubby sat up in bed and called Wally my son, name out and reach out. that day we couldnt understand him. he mumble the whole day. but when he woke up the next day. plain as day. he ask Jessica by baby girl to get him some water. so plain. and then he look at her and ask her about the train station. so we feel like Wally came to him that night and told him to talk to us the next day. and also the dream Jessica had. Walt was there . and Wally still wasnt coming to get him until he talk to us. a bitter sweet story. so thats why I pray to dream . may goodness . telling you all of this . and you just talking about dreams. but for what . If it brings you comfort, and you really would like to see them, I would continue to keep them focused in my heart and brain while trying to go to sleep. Keep telling yourself that you have control over more of your brain than you realize and once you believe this, you should be able to fall into this sleep. Thats what I do, it's the power of persuasion, only I use it on myself :) Also dont be discouraged if it takes a while. I'm sure they will visit you just when you need it most.
