You need to get yourself to a neurologist....that's who (if you have it) would diagnose MS.
The first tests will be MRIs of your brain and spine (thoracic....middle spine, and cervical...neck area). You will also most likely have blood tests conducted to look for any abnormalities or other blood-borne disorders. Lastly, a lumbar puncture or spinal tap may be performed. There are other tests that may come later (evoked potentials, EMG or ENG tests), but I suspect that MRIs are going to be the first line of tests.
What area of the country do you live in?

That's certainly interesting how he came to that conclusion without performing any tests...
Find a neurologist that will put you through the testing...that will be your first step to getting some answers. Good luck, we are here to help you through your journey!

You could contact one of the national organizations for a recommendation? They have chapters in almost every state. I'm sure you could talk to a knowledgable person in your area?
