View Full Version : Canadian Tax breaks for IBS sufferers

I was reading a document from I Canadian Health website that if a child or adult is diagnosed with IBS or some other allergic condition that some tax breaks can be afforded to them. Is this true or did I misinterpret the information. Does the US have anything similar? I believe this break is to offset the cost of purchasing special foods for health reasons?

I don't know anything about this but I would be very interested to learn more about it as both my mom and I suffer from IBS and special foods and supplements can get expensive. Let me know if you learn more!
