I've had painful gas attacks since I was a young teenage accompanied by diarrhea. Recently they are getting worse and more frequent and not always with diarrhea anymore. I have had the pain now all week with and without diarrhea. The pain is so bad I can hardly move and it feel like I must be dying.
I have tried many diet changes including eliminating dairy, wheat, and fructose. Also eat more fiber and less stress and nothing helps. Dr's have been unconcerned with this and just wanted to prescribe an anti-spastic or Imodium. Any ideas what this might be or how to get rid of it?

I noticed when I started cutting out a lot of carbohydrates my gas problem cut down considerably. Coincidence? I don't know. But you could try it.
