I was recently diagnosed with IBS though have had problems for 2 years. I have been started on Zelnorm which has helped greatly. I am a large woman and wonder if weight loss has helped anyone. I really hate to be tied to medications if something else can help. Thanks!

well each person is different of course, but I've been thin my whole life and had this most of it so it doesn't help me. I think it is part of the reason I've stayed thin, infact. (although I have gained weight over the last 10 years). I was still 95lbs when I got my BA in college, now I'm the highest I've ever been at 115 (approximately 9 years later).
