Can one have an elevated FSH due to PCOS? Recently I have been diagnosed with PCOS and had my FSH tested. The FSH level was in post-menopausal range - 31! The FSH level in previous testing, about 6 months prior to the latest test, was normal - 8! I am 44, is my FSH high due to PCOS or am I reaching a menopause? On the other hand, is it possibe to have PCOS if you are menopausal? Can't make the clear links. Please help.
