I know I am suppose to take Zelnorm before breakfast and before dinner. I never know when I am going to eat though and it is different each day with my work schedule. can I just take it on an empty stomach? Do I HAVE to eat a half hour afterward a big meal or can I have a snack? Can I take more thatn 2 a day if needed? (I dont mind a little diarherra if it gets rid of my bloat)

What is Zelnorm...Cause I was on a med that sounds similar - I took it three times a day half an hour before meals....The med I was on was called Apo-Domperidone and was for improving intestinal motility....Maybe it's the same med? As I understand Zelnorm isn't available in Canada.

I take my Zelnorm first thing in the morning and right before bedtime.......on an empty stomach both times. I do not eat with mine except an occassional piece of toast in the mornings. It works very well for me when I take it this way. I have talked to my Dr. about how long a person can be on Zelnorm,,,He has people who have been on it for 5 years and are doing fine. It works for me and hope I, too, can be on it long term!!

The Zelnorm isnt working. I took 2 pills wed. and my bloating went done, i went to the bathroom. It is Saturday and no luck. What should i do? With my job(s) I snack throughout the day because I am always hungry. How should i take it on an empty stomach?
