Hi ladies
Elainee I just noticed you are going to try vitex. I can't tell you how happy I am with it!!!!! I went from 7 months of amenorrhea to picture perfect 28 day cycles. I take it twice a day, but started out taking it 3 times a day. Just FYI-it's super important to take it as soon as you wake up in the am with a glass of water only. Apparently having food in your stomach causes it to not work properly. Be sure to drink some water though, because the powder is nasty to burp up. Haha.
Smrose- sending you a big hug. Hang in there, we're all rooting for you :)
AF came right on time, so it's a fresh cycle for me. I will be ovulating while I am out of town away from my hubby (boo!) so it looks like March won't be my month. Here's rooting for April.
Baby dust!

tcdb, thanks. i appreciate it. i broke down in the dr's office crying this morning. i ran out of meds last night so was hoping that my sono this morning would be a go and that i am fully developed. well, not the case. i am kind of stalled and they aren't getting any bigger. more bloodwork to check my hormone levels. i didn't have any more money to get more meds and was ready to call it quits. my dr said he has not "not" gotten anyone pg with ovaries like mine, it just takes time, money and medication. they gave me another round of meds free and he said we are at the end of the runway so didn't want to quit now. i am almost there but not quite. he hugged me and told me to go have a margarita and not to hit the panic button and freak out. so i take more shots and go back on Friday to see if i am there. i was worried i would start af next week but he said there is nothing going on in my uterus so i will not have an af next week. i guess the shots are stalling that so it buys us more time. i am just growing weary of taking shots everynight with no results. i am trying to come to terms that it might just not happen this month even after spending so much on medication and i might just have to give it a rest until i can save up more money and try again in june. i had my cry and i am now okay i think. good luck to all.

According to where I usually O , I should be starting my 2WW tomorrow. I have had the weirdest cycle this month I have ever had. Starting to get a little paranoid that I might be starting to be peri menopausal. My dr never did check my fsh level so maybe she'll consider doing that. I've just been hot hot hot the last two days and nauseous and tired and my bbs are killing me but like I said I should be , I didnt do an OPK this month, just temping , so I should be 1 dpo tomorrow according to past charts. I dont really count on being pg this month as the Dh and I have hardly bd'ed at all. He's been tired and working long hours ..I do have to say on the days that we did bd, I had the most spectacular ewcm. I haven't had that in a while. So there's a little part of me that is going to be hopeful. just a little part. but with all the other symptoms it really just feels like AF is coming earlier than expected. We'll see.
Good luck to you smrose. I'm sure you're very frustrated, just keep a positive outlook , I think thats all any of us can do.
TDCB, so you would recommend vitex? I haven't done a lot of research on it but I think at this point anything natural or well close would be a better option for me to try than clomid like my drs pushing for.
Guess we'll see what my round of tests says the next time I see her.
Well its late, its hotter than hades in my house and I am headed for bed.
Good night ladies.
and good luck and baby dust to you all

Thanks Lisek. i got reassuring news from the dr yesterday afternoon. they said normally with meds, your hormone levels have to be above 600 and have to have follicle size of at least 18mm to be ready to induce ovulation for the iui.for the past 2 weeks of taking shots my hormones have been 100-150 and even dropped at one point which he didn't understand. all of the sudden they have jumped to 600 and i am still at 13 or 14 on about 3 eggs so don't have that much further to go. they think that finally my body is responding to the higher dosage of meds and i am feeling hopeful that by tomorrow i will have developed further (hopefully) and be ready soon. Thanks for the support as this month of all i have really needed it the most. i was borderline becoming depressed and fighting it. good luck to all. :)

Oh. my god. i feel so sick. ive spent 2 days with awful toothache, and today there was a car infront of us, that stunk of petrol and i though i was going to throw up!since then all day ive felt like this, and its getting worse lol
on a good note, if it can be called that, the only times ive had toothache was when i was pg with my son, and a few days before i got my bfp with my daughter, so fingers crossed!! according to the charting software i use, one of them says in 6dpo and the other sayd 7dpo, i think im 7, and as i cant help myself i did a test this mornign which of course was bfn, but hopefully tomorrow will be different lol

Yah lucii!! My fingers are crossed for you! This sounds so promising!
So, to all the girls out there who are willing to try anything to get their cycles back on track: vitex is a miracle herb! I feel like I should be a vitex rep or something, with as much as I promote it, but it's just so great. Of course bcp's screwed up my cycle something crazy, but before that I would only ovulate MAYBE twice a year. Now, I can count on ovulating every month, and follow a perfect 28 day cycle. Woot! So, Elainee and LiseK, do some research on it, and let me know what you think. The only downside I can think of, is that it takes a few months to build up in your system, so you have to be patient. It was my worst enemy.
Smrose I'm so happy to hear about the progress. Girl you're so close, hang in there!
Have a good night girls.

Hi Guys,
Well I'm CD2 today, so I'm out of the tww, but it's ok, I feel fine. I haven't taken the Vitex after all, because I (think) I do ovulate and I do have a 28ish day cycle, so I'm just afraid of messing that up, so for this month I'm just going to leave well enough alone. I'm taking my prenatals and 500mg of evening primrose oil from now to O and I'm really going to concentrate on eating healthier and getting more excercise and see how that goes. I think I'm just so eager to get a BFP that I'm considering everything, I've bought so many supplements, so I've decided to try and relax a bit and let Mother Nature get to work...(hopefully), if it doesn't happen over the next 2 cycles, I'll be off to the doctor and trying out Clomid I'm sure.
SMRose, sorry you've had such a horrible disheartening time, but your last post looks very very hopeful. I really pray today, you get the news you've been waiting to hear.
Everyone else, best of luck in their tww xx

hey ladies.. sorry to hear about all the bad posts, but i'm holding a prayer for each and every one of you :)
just a quick update, since i've been MIA lately.. i should be entering my tww any day now. i started to get creamy cm last night and today, but not quite ewcm yet. only problem is, is that dh is being an extreme BOZO and neither of us are quite in the mood to be intimate. of course it has to come right around O time too. MEN. i swear, if i didn't want to get pg so bad, i'd get rid of them all together lol
so, as of right now, it looks like i'll have a tww with a most certain negative outcome. i guess.... its just really not my time right now. but i'm concentrating on ME for the first time in a long time. i'm down 6lbs in 2 weeks, the good old fashion healthy way - diet and excersize :D so, although my biggest dream may not come true, i'm really taking care of myself in the mean time.
now, dh just better WISE UP and get baby dancin', or i'll be dancin' all over his face in my high heel shoes! hahah ;)

Well I'm out on the 2ww now. AF showed her ugly face yesterday so guess it back to the drawing board again soon. We will keep trying the old fashion way like our RE said but if nothing happens by June we will be starting IUI to help things alone but I'm praying we don't have to. We was hopeing to goodness we get a BFP this month. My Dh is  at hisself since it was a flop this time too.

Hi Ladies,
Well Im new to this and don't know all the lingo.... So I have been trying to concieve for awhile now and apparently I do not ovulate. Not this past cycle but one before was dec 31 to feb7 very long time, so of course I got my hopes up and they came crashing down with 2 neg tests. I have been taking herbal ovulation pills called fertilaid, well hasn't worked yet. I know 12 people whom are very close to my husband and i that are preg. And we found out about ALL of them within a month in a half, the time I went with no period for that month and a half almost. So I just jnew I was. Anyway Im still not, waiting trying to be patient. I will be going back to Dr. in 2 weeks to start Clomid. Fingers crossed....
Good Luck to you all and my Prayers are with you!!

Hi ladies, well I finally had my IUI yesterday. it was scheduled to take the love cup at 9:30am and give them 1.5 hours to prep the swimmers then we were to be back at 11am to have the procedure. well dh has been sick and on antibiotics for a couple of weeks and apparently it affected his count. when we showed up they sent us back home with another cup to bring back to add to the 1st count. took about 1.5 hrs before we headed back. dh was having a hard time and saying it was too much pressure for him to give another sample. i got upset cause basically i am the one going through everything and he just has to give. anyway we added a little more and the count was still low but my re decided to go ahead with the IUI. he said we only had about 1 million swimmers and normally i think they want you to have double. he said he would try to get as close to my tubes as he could and pray for the best. i told him it only takes 1 out of a million so hopefully it is all good. i am now in the 2ww and it is going to go by so slow. i go back on March 9th for my serum pregnancy test to see if it took. my whole insides are sore from the shots due to them making my ovaries so enlarged and added weight gain. hopefully now that the shots are over they will start to shrink. my dh wouldn't even go in the room when they did the iui. he said it was freaking him out and he didn't want to see what they were doing. if i get pg he really doesn't want to be in the delivery room. he can't stand the sight of blood and stuff. men are weird sometimes.

Good luck smrose.
I am 5 dpo and am feeling pretty good so I am going to expect AF next week. My DH and I didn't bd as much as we should have. He had a long work week last week and was doing a lot of sleeping before bedtime and before our boys went to bed making it near impossible to bd. So we'll see. I have however, put myself on a diet and hope that maybe some weight loss will help in ttc. I go see an RE on March 9th so if I'm not pg this month, at least we'll figure out whats going on. I still have to call my dr today and find out what my blood tests revealed about my FSH levels.
Good luck to the rest of you in the 2WW
inkedflamingo are you back in the 2WW yet?
lucii , how are you feeling? Is it time to test for you?

Hello everyone,
I soon will be on the 2ww again. It is just 4 days before ovulation so I'm praying this will be the month. If it doesn't happen by June the old fashion way we will be trying IUI but our RE told us to keep at it LOL..
Elainee I'm keeping toes and fingers crossed for you hun.. Hope you soon get your BFP. ME I used a cheap stick ovulation kit thing this morning an the darn thing didn't even work so I can't test again until tomorrow morning. I hate the cheap sticks but didn't want to use up my high dollar ones yet guess I learned my lesson that time.
Good Luck to everyone on the 2WW.
Tons of baby dust to everyone..
Be Back In a few when the true 2WW starts.

Hey everyone,
LisaK that's great news about your hormone levels being good, that's great. Everyone else either in the tww or waiting to get into it, gooood luck and keep up the bd'ing!!
Well I think I'm 2dpo today. Actually some advice would be welcome. I think my peak day CM wise was Thursday with my pos OPK, but then my temp didn't rise until Sunday morning. So I'm thinking I O'd on Saturday? what would anyone else think?
Well I'm going to see a doctor tomorrow evening about all of this, it will be for the first time, so I'm looking forward to having a good checkup, a little nervous too, but looking forward to it mostly.
Best of luck to everyone xx

Hi Eveyone - I hope you don't mind me joining. I have been TTC since October of last year - so 5 months down. I just got my AF Friday, so its been a bit all over the place the last few months but think it has settled at 30 days now. I know I ov around day 15 - 17 as I got a Pos Opk on day 15 of last month which was a thursday so we bd that night, Sat & sun Night - missed Fri night because of work do's etc. So ye think I missed my peak night?? I have only used the OPK's last month for the first time but hope to use them again this month, will start testing from about day 14.. I got a :) thurs and Fri on OPK's last month - any advice on that??? Is there anything else I could be doing? I am taking evening Prim tablets each day anything else??? I have a son aged 18months and had one MC prior to that, so I know I can get preg but still worried its taking a while - it took 3 - 4 months on last preg's.. Any advice greatly recieved thank you!

Well I'm out for this month. AF started today. ugh. I O'd on the weekend of VD and we didn't really do a lot of bd'ing during my fertile period. So maybe next month. I am on a major diet and have already lost like 5 pounds so maybe next month. If I average the weight I have lost so far then I will have lost atleast another 10 before I O. I am also seeing an RE this month on the 9th which is before I O so maybe they'll have some insight into whats going on and why its taking so long to conceive this time around. So good luck to the rest of you in your 2 WW.

Hi girls! Sorry to hear this is not ANYONE'S month, but glad to hear we'll all be here together for a little while longer :). I thought I would be o'ing this past weekend, but I was traveling out of town and I think it messed up my cycle. I am having some mid cycle bleeding, very scant- has anyone else ever experienced this? This is new for me. My temps have not shifted yet either, so who knows what is going on. Guess we'll just wait and see...the story of my life haha.

Paula and slyfoxy welcome welcome. Nice to meet ya :)

hey ladies. sorry i've been so scarce here lately. i've had alot going on with planning bridal/baby showers, etc etc. on my last post, i said that dh was being a bozo.. well, u think i O'ed on cd17 or 18, we didn't bd until cd18 because we "made up." ;)
the only thing i'm having now is just some creamy cm, which is nothing new. the only thing different, is that i've been constipated, yet having multiple bm's per day.. which is bizarre. usually by now, i get my what i like to call, "period poops" (diahrea.)
i had 2 pretty bad nausea days last week. i'm now on cd34 and not planning on testing for quite some time. i think with my new gym routine, af may be a little quirky. so i'll wait a while and see what happens. i mean, i haven't really been killing myself at the gym, so i dont think it should delay af, but who knows.
i haven't really noticed a difference with my synthroid either. i'm scheduling my bloodwork for the end of this month to see if it needs to be a higher dosage. anyways, i'm offically 8 lbs down in a month's time, so i'm pretty excited about that. i notice more physical changes then i notice changes on the scale, so i'm loving it :D

Cookie, nice that you're back. I haven't posted because I have been dealing with my emotions during my 2ww and today felt I needed to talk to someone. Well as you know we had our 1st IUI on 02/23/09 and my pg test was scheduled for Monday of this week. well i started my af on Saturday and is it a bad one. i normally start light then get heavy, well this started heavy and serious cramping and passing lots of tissue. i was going through a super plus tampon and pad about every hour or hour and a half. i am finally starting to slow down after 4 days of this non stop. the dr said to not come in for the pg test since i was bleeding so bad. i have been crying on and off for the past 4 days and feeling kind of crummy.:( i just don't understand why i can't get pg. i am feeling like i have no purpose in life w/o children.all we do is work and come home. work and come home.my life is not gratifying in the least. for as long as i can remember all i have ever wanted is to be a mommy and the powers to be aren't letting it happen. :( i feel like i could be starting to go into a small depression but am fighting it daily.) i know some people just aren't meant to be parents regardless of how much they want it. i just can't accept the fact that those are the plans for us. we are going to try again but it will take about 6 months or more for us to save up $3000 for another IUI. my dh wanted to know how many times i wanted to try the IUI for a baby. i said at least 1-2 more times. i don't want to give up after the 1st negative attempt. After about 6 years of trying w/o success i just gave up hoping. then at almost 11 years we did the iui with negative and it kind of dredged up all those bad feelings all over again. i am trying to hang in there but am finding it difficult because time is running out being that i am fixing to be 38 and my dh is 48. maybe i am just getting all worked up and need to stop thinking about it and focus on working as much overtime as i can to be able to save up to try it again. thanks for listening.

good morning ladies.
well, my cd34 quickly turned to cd1. this was the absolute, hands down, heaviest period of my life. i had cramps so bad in the front and in my low back, all the way up to my shoulder blades. i haven't had cramps like that (back cramps) since i was a young teen.. it was BRUTAL!!! it was 4 full days of ungodly heaviness, then just seemed to stop within a 2 day span. i'm just so thankful its over! it severely put a damper on me. i was moodier and sadder and PMS'ier then i've been in probably 5 or 6 years, could barely even muster up the physical and mental strength to even hit the gym last week. it was just a huge bad week all around.
but on the plus side, DH is coming around and i just hope that the changes he's promised, he sticks too. he's promised to be more understanding and more cooperative when it comes time for "mandatory bd'ing" as he calls it. so, i'll just keep my fingers crosed and hope he sticks to his promises.. i'm putting alot of faith and effort into this, so.. :)

Well, I thought that March was going to be the month but like clockwork, AF is here and today is officially CD1. I am so bummed :( I had a LOT of problems while I was pg 3 yrs ago (no problems getting pg though) with DD due to having 7 uterine fibroids. 3 are still in there and when I saw my ob/gyn in Sept., she said that I would probably have to have them removed or I wouldn't be able to carry a pg but heck, these are the same fibroids I had prior to getting pg the last time and it didn't take any time for me to get pg. I hate to have someone going in and cutting on me (or whatever they do) because it seems like that possible scarring would make things worse. I bought that "Taking Charge of your Fertility" book but I don't think that I have the problems that the typical woman would have so I don't even think that stuff like Clomid would even benefit me. My cycle is a classic 28-day cycle, cm seems fine, temps were fine, opk's seem to work. The only thing I can think of would be these pesky fibroids and there wasn't really anything about those in there. Has anyone had any experience like this, with the fibroids?
Good luck to everyone who still has hope for March.

i should be in the tww any day now. i'm cd 16. i'm not doing anything special this month, just continuing my synthroid. going for bloodwork next week to check levels, and probably increasing the dosage. i was going to take robitussin this month, but forgot about it. oh well. its a STRESS FREE MONTH!
within the next 2 months i will start opks as well. we started bd'ing this weekend already on day 13, 14 and we will today, 18, 20, 22, and 24 for good luck. dh is behaving PERFECTLY! its almost like a dream how supportive and "ready to bd" he is this month with no questions asked! its fantastic!
will post again in a few days. i finally got a minute to myself and jump on. good luck to the rest of you waiting for the tww to be over. got my fingers crossed for you :)

Hey everyone,
Sorry I've been MIA for a while. I started to get quite stressed about TTC and decided to back off from my daily boards watch! I think it actually has helped a bit. I feel much more relaxed about it. I also went to a doctor and had an ultrasound and she said everything looks great and I'm having blood tests done as well. I've done the CD3 test and I'll be doing the CD21 next Thursday. I'm 4dpo today and I'm still watching everything, but this time at least I feel if something is wrong, it will be picked up and we can fix it. So I feel positive enough.
Good luck to everyone in their tww or their BD'ing what ever stage you're at! Please God, we'll have a few BFP's on here soon, I think it's been a while xx

Hey there,
The CD3 blood test is for Oestrogen, Folicole Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Prolactin and then the CD21 blood test is for Progesterone. So I go for the later on Thursday, I haven't got the results of the earlier ones yet, so I suppose I'll get them altogether.
6dpo and my patience is at a very low ebb, I hate the tww. Good luck to us all xx

Well this is 2dpo on the 2ww I hope I got that right. We've been praying to get a BFP before having to go for a T-Ultrasound but it hasn't happen yet. My DH is looking forward to hopefully soon we can move on to IUI.
Good Luck to everyone on the 2WW.

I'm back in the TTC mode after a m/c. We're going to start trying in about 7 days, so I'm pretty excited, but not excited about the continued waiting... We've been trying for #2 for nearly a year, so I'm just hoping we can make it happen soon.

Well I'm out of the 2WW now. AF showed her ugly face so tomorrow morning going for bloodwork long with a T-ultrasound to see how things look inside then in about 14 days will go for my midcycle scan to see how the follices look. Hopeing that will be good if so may get to start our first IUI. Not sure yet.
Wish us luck.
Good Luck to everyone that is TTC an lots of baby dust.
