I have been suffering from tummy pain after i eat anything, cramps, gas and really bad reflux. Ive been to 4 different docs. they all keep bringing up ibs. I dont believe i have because i dont have the bowel problems just really the digestive issues. Im haveing an endoscopy done next week but the gi still thinks its ibs. I dont think i can live with that diagnosis(sp) I have lost to much weight because of the pain i feel after i eat. Any ideas?

I have also lost a considerable amount of weight because I am avoiding food. Are you eating the same amount or have you cut down because of the pain? From what I understand about IBS, it is more of a bowel problem which can cause stomach problems/discomfort as a result....What you are experiencing sounds more like a stomach issue..Of course I am no doctor, and I imagine your exam will shed more light on the matter...Hang in there http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Ive lost weight due to avoidance, i hate the feeling/pain i feel after i eat. I also thought ibs was a bowl thing thats why i dont believe thats what it is. but like to said im not a dr. either. Hopefully soon i will find out. Thanks for the reply
