Hi everyone: For the past few months, I've been experiencing an almost constant, persistant, low-grade dull pain in my admominal area just below my belly button area and to the sides. My admomen feels irritated and vaguely tender. Sometimes I do have a violent bm with lots of cramping but that passes as soon as the bm is over then its back to the low-grade dull pain. Can this be IBS?

Hi islandgirl, that sounds like IBS I discribe my pain as someone putting salt on an open wound my colon is always so tender and after I have a BM I have a dull ache until I eat again then it starts all over.
