Hi Everyone,

Last week I started feeling burning in my urethra and slight redness and tingling on one side of my scrotum. I started seeing a lady and we'd had been intimate a few times prior to these symptoms (condom used). I was worried and went to a clinic with her. I told the doctor about the burning and didn't focus on the scrotum stuff as much. He told me it might be chlamydia or gonorrhea and gave me a prescription for both. After a coupe days the burning went away, but now my scrotum is still bugging me...slightly itchy and red. I'm freaked out and embarrassed, but I'm expecting the worse. My partner is aware of what's going on and hasn't had any symptoms in the past. It's been 2 weeks since we were last intimate. I'm curious to know if I'm going thru an OB or maybe there's something else weird down there. Please help!
thanks

You didn't get tested? I don't think it's herpes. Maybe it's just some virus. You should get tested first!

Thanks for your reply....
He swabbed me for chlamydia or gonorrhea, but this was last Sunday and no calls on results yet. I've been reading up on herpes and my symptoms seem to relate to what happens in some cases for HSV. Maybe I'm lucky to have a milder form of OB.
