Okay so I recently had a horrible incident happen. I went to the restroom and then started to smell Really bad and the smell hasn't gone away since. I had some stomach pain for weeks before. I went to the doctor and he didn't tell me much but it was IBS. The smell is ruining my life. Now I can't smell it much my self for some reason but the smell is still there. I dont' know why i can't smell it. I guess that makes it easy to be alone and forget about it. But i have to go to work and school and its driving me crazy. The smell is really strong like CRAP. My parents lie and tell me the smell isn't there. I guess to not hurt my feelings..But my freaking Dr. just smiles and says what smell. Like i would rather know what I could do to fix this problem instead of being lied to. I DON"T KNOW what to do.

You may want to try taking Chlorophyll --- it is a deoderant for the intestines.

There is also an old saying--- "take and don't stink".

Also Charcoal Tablets work-- they suppose to absorb odors??

Hi. I'm confused. How old are you? Male or female? When did the first incident happen? How can you say it smells like crap if your parents and your doctor tell you it doens't stink and you yourself said you can't really smell it? Do people tell you that you stink or make comments?

Anyway. If you think it really stinks you should talk to your doctor about doing enemas or using suppositories to clean your colon. May be useful.

I've had excessive gas for almost a decade and i found a solution (sort of) that may aplly to you. I bough a meter of activated carbon (tissue like).

I cut a bit of it in two thin rectangles and a little tiny square and covered them with ordinary tissue (just to avoid direct contact). The square i put on "that" area and i fold the rectangles and fit them between my buttocks. Also i do a g-sting out of my underwear just to make sure it won't move and use a bathsuit over it (not to let any compromising marks show up through my jeans - i'm a male). And that's it.

I still have to test it for a longer period but i can say that a lot of times the odor is almost completely gone (sometimes just gone, really). This is, like i said, for gas. But may work for you too. Of course i change the ordinary tissue everyday (just throw the used ones) and the carbon twice a week.

I've had a similar experience (I have IBS). This is what helped me somewhat: I stopped taking all medication (which you should not do if you have a serious disease like Crohn's). I started increasing my fiber by eating (i) a high fiber cereal, more raw vegetables. Lastly, I am eating one cup of yogurt with probiotics every day, and I am taking a probiotic supplement 2x a day. This has greatly improved by bathroom experiences, reduced the smell and diarrea, and reduced my uncontrollable gas. After 3 weeks of following the above mentioned, I feel much better.
