why is my thumb moving on its own
Mine is doing the same for about a month. I am pregnant so I don't know if mine has to do with fluid retention or what... but my thumb and index will move on its own from time to time for a bout a month and it's so annoying. How long has it been going on with you?

I don't know but I don't think it's Parkinson's disease. It also happened to me several months ago. It lasted for several days (not sure exactly how long but it seemed like forever).
A friend told me that it might be a pinched nerve and that I should sit up straight (that's because it happened mostly when I was sitting in my recliner).
My THEORY is that I might have ingested some apples that had pesticides on them. So I started peeling the apples and the involuntary twitching stopped.
