when should radiation start after breast surgery

It depends. I had a mastectomy on 8/13/07, chemotherapy started on 9/27/07 and radiation started on 2/7/08.

I had my mastectomy with immediate reconstruction on 18 November then started radiation on 28 January. I guess every situation is different.
