hey there

me and my partner have decided to go to the gum clinic tomorrow to get our selves checked for any STI's because we want to spend the rest of our lives together and want to rule out any problems now.
we both know that in our late teens very early twentys we we're never very careful with who we've slept with but now (25yrs old) we are in a serious relationship together we want everything to be ok.
im just so worried that things could be found because i know that you can have STI's without even knowing. im so nervous about it all!!!

any feed back would be helpfull thanks.

Well, not to worry you, but they can't test for everything. HPV can take years to show up, for example, and will otherwise be undetectable. Ask them what they are testing for so you will know what, in fact, you don't have.
