:eek:Having a case of the willies here ... since I'm the family nurse I've been asked to help with immediate post op care. Would sure like to know what to expect: I've spent most of my nursing career in ED, Research and Disease Management.

She'll be home in 24 hours. My assessment skills are good, she won't crump on me, but: will there be dressing changes at home? What is the expected care of the drains? Is it still a no-no to take BP?
