Hi Everyone,
I am 10 weeks in of stopping smoking i was a 30 aday smoker for 15 years and although i cant say i have found it easy.
It is not as difficult as i thought it might be. However since stopping i am on my second bout of colds, i am constantly tired and want to sleep, coughing up phelghm, have bad constipation which i have never had, and generally just feel really run down.
I have no intentions of going back smoking but i thought by now i would be feeling better than what i do.
So i was wondering if anyone else felt ill when they had stopped and for how long ? and is there anything i can do to help myself ?
I am drinking lots of water and have started at the gym 2/3 times a week and my diet is quite good.
Thanks sally and good luck to everyone who has stopped or wants to

When I quit I did it cold turkey and I felt like a truck ran me over and backed up several times to make sure it did the job right . I started to feel better about three months into the quit. I suddenly didn't feel so exhausted and that foggy feeling started to lift. It sounds like your doing everything right just hang in there your almost there.
Keep up the great work
