My question had is about the mag phos 6x. I have been taking this for about a month or better now when I have tightening in my stomach, and it seemed to help at first. the last couple of weeks the spasms have been more constant and don't seem to be reacting to the mag phos anymore. I was wondering if I should be taking a magnesium supplement on a daily basis along with the Mag phos when my stomach begins to hurt.
My pains are not really painfull, feels more like I am trying to suck in my stomach, and am to bloated to do it. But the constipation has been bad again.
Thanks

PACKER,
Mag Phos should be used for spasms and cramps when needed --- not all the time.
I take a magnesium supplement twice daily. I also eat yogurt that contains calcium. Alot of supplements that contain magnesium also contain calcium. The relationship should be 2 parts calcium to 1 part magnesium. Taking too much magnesium will cause diarrhea because it is used in laxatives like Milk of Magnesia, Citrate of Magnesia and Epson salts.
You may know calcium is a relaxant -- natures natrual tranquilizer.
Alot of times bloating is caused by having your intestinal bacteria out of balance. The friendly intestinal bacteria is helped to be re-balanced by a probiotic supplement and eating a good brand of yogurt that contains alot of different cultures like Stonyfield Farm or Cascade that you can buy at a health food store.
