I lost 25 lbs without trying, I think mine was from my thyroid though. I have been having some rectal bleeding, I had a colonoscopy , my 3rd in 8 yrs , in May 08. This one said I have an internal hemiroid {sp} , the 1st time a dr has mentioned it. I have had the precancerous polyps removed . This is why I was worried about the symptoms I was having. MY GI dr still thought the weight loss was significant.
