Hello! I'm happy that my doctor finally attibuted my costipation and nasty bloating to diagnose me with IBS with Constipation. He prescribed Zelnorm for me and I'm going to be starting it tomorrow. What should I expect? It says that side effects are diarrhea...do I need to worry, or will it be a pleasant releif from not having a bowel movement more than two weeks? Also, do you suggest that I take a stool softener with my Zelnorm? I've been taking Philips SoftGel Stool Softners. Any advice or experiences with Zelnorm would be most helpful.
