why am I so cold all the time
Because you live in Bangor:jester::jester::jester:
All joking aside, if you have MS, your frayed nerves are likened onto a thermostat that is not functioning properly. Your nerves serve various physiological functions. I will awaken at times in the winter in a sweat or 10 minutes later I am shivering. I layer my clothes and have my sock cap and gloves near me during the winter and into the spring. I am always shedding layers or adding layers throughout the day. At night I may remove my blanket or add a blanket. It is a process!!
Indoors I have found the best temperature in winter for me has been 64-68 degrees F. In the summer I avoid the outdoors between 10:00 and 10:30 A.M. until 4:30-5:00 P.M.

I am like MSJayhawk. I am constantly putting on layer of clothes or taking them off. When it is really cold outside, I get hot. And when say nice outside for winter then I am cold. My feet and legs are ice cold. And then my arms or hands get ice cold, I know they are going numb. But I do have a goiter, it is possible that this is thyroid related. I had a blood test done a while ago but didn't hear about anything abnormal. I try not to blame everything on MS.
I keep it around 60 degrees in winter. This is change from last winter. Wonder what summer will be like?

If you don't have MS and are experiencing neurological sx, make sure that thyroid is among the battery of tests administered.
