I went to a clinic, because i've had a 5 week voice altering sore throat, achey ear, can't breath right, took anti biotics, had a clear x-ray, "cold". I pointed out my family and personal cancer history, and requested tests. I have lumps on my neck and throat.(my mother died at 64 of thyroid cancer,my maternal grandmother had throat cancer, larnyx i think) so should i be worried about cysts,1 on each side 1in middle of my thyroid?

as long as the cysts remain small and do not grow, they shouldn't be a problem (my mom has several on both sides of her thyroid). With your history, you need to be very proactive in making sure they do routine checks on those cysts to be absolutely sure they aren't changing. Have you had a biobsy to be sure they are only cysts?
A friend of mine had a cyst on the one side of her thyroid so they monitored it for about a year, but it started to grow. Even though they did biobsies, it wasn't until they went in to surgically remove the growing cyst they found she had cancer. It was in such an early stage there was no spreading of the cancer so they took her thyroid out and that was it. Chances are if they don't change size they are benign.
