I performed oral sex on a woman about three weeks ago. I did not recieve oral and we did not have intercourse. About 4 days later I started having an itchy sensation when I urinated and a whitish discharge from my penis. I am out of the country and I went to the med clinic and they did a swab test which has yet to come back (it has to goto germany then back to where I am). One PA I saw said it looked like chlamydia the other said ghonorrea. They treated me with 250mg shot of Rocephin and a 10 day course of 200mg doxycycline (im on day 8) and 7 day course of 1500 mg Metronizadole (im on day 6). The itchiness and discharge are gone but I have a constant pain/burning sensation in my penis (which wasn't a problem before)and I have to really concentrate to urinate. I plan on going back in two days after I am done with the meds, but I am kinda freaking out a little, not knowing if I even had something to begin with. any ideas on why I am still having issues? If I did have an STD shouldn't it be gone by now.

I suppose if her vaginal fluids came in contact with the tip of your penis, then you could have picked up something. For example, if you fingered her or if she fingered herself and then touched you there, it could have happened. It may take a little while for your body to heal from the infection, but it will be interesting to know the results of the test. Some of the lingering symptoms, too, might be stress related.
