Welcome to the boards and I'm sorry you're having this problem. You are not alone, however. Please see the following thread:

http://www.healthboards.com/boards/showthread.php?t=670543

Have you talked to your Doc about getting the 15s instead (twice as many)? Many Docs have gotten creative via this shortage. For example, I've seen where patients have posted that they need 15s and can't get them, so their Docs write for 30s and give them a pill cutter.

Best of luck to you through this.

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one having this problem. I have been looking for a couple days and no one has them. FInally last night a pharmacist told me that the manufacturer had temp stopped making them therefore making everyone on backorder. esp walgreens.. she said that other manufacturers make them and to check around at other pharmacies that might use the other manufacturers. But, for now, I go without, 3rd day now. If anyone hears of any good news on the subject. please post for us and let us know whats going on......good luck to every one else...

Luckily I have not had any problems getting my 30mgs at all. My stores here are stocked with them.
Wish you luck, I know that this is causing many people pain in more ways than one.

P.S I have found that the smaller, not so well known stores are the ones that have plenty of them. Its the larger, pharmacy chains, such as CVS, Walgreens, Rite-aid, Costco, Target, Walmart, but places like Safeway and the smaller grocery stores I find are having them.

try looking at any and all drug stores that are actually open on a 24/7 basis. this was the suggestion i recieved from the WG pharm i ended up having to go to here in MN when my reg WGs did not carry the MSIR i needed or the roxicodone i normally was taking(they were only using the ethex brand)? the only place that had what i needed was the 24 hour WG she sent me to after calling them. the pharm said that the 24 hour ones tend to use more than one manufacturer and stock alot more overall too. just one suggestion to try first. the MSIR 15mg i recived was manufactered by roxanne. good luck to everyone hit by this crappy situation. marcia

The large chains were big customers of Ethex, especially CVS. Thus, they have the most trouble.
