There is no way for anyone to know for certain if that stain of HPV will cause cancer. There are certain strains which *can* lead to cancer, but they don't always lead to cancer. Many people are able to fight the virus so it doesn't cause any problems.
What did your doctor say regarding the next step? How did he/she diagnose HPV 52?

Thanks for your answer... My doctor asked me to do a second colcoscopy after 6 months from the first and did not take any actions for the moment... but since the 52 is among the high risk, I was a bit worried, and also in my family there is a case of cancer already...

HPV is a virus and therefore not genetically linked so your family history of cancer wouldn't necessarily be relevant here.
