Hey all.

My GP is referring me on the NHS for bariatric surgery.

I'm just wondering who here is doing the same thing or has had gastric surgery on the NHS.

What kind of hoops did you have to jump through?

What was the waiting time like?

Any other stories/anecdotes would be appreciated..

Thanks x

PPS.
I had to have two things before I could be refered. I had to have a BMI of over 40. Mines 43 :( plus I had to either have sleep apnea or diabetic. I knew I had sleep apnea but it was never proved. So I had to be refered to a sleep clinic.
Got the possitive for this and now being refered!
