My life is moving on from the illness. (I have been stable for three months but very unhappy.) That is the first time I have been able to say that at all. I have been dragging my heels rather than putting in the effort it takes to rebuild a life. I have been wasting energy avoiding things, avoiding life. I hope that now I can put the past in the past. I am going to a club meeting at my college tm and I am feeling like it is a step in the right direction. I hope the first of many.
I hope everyone is doing well,

I think that going to the club meeting is a step in the right direction, too.
Try not to be so tough on yourself. You've obviously been through a traumatic event.
Take baby steps until you find what works to make you happy and productive.
God bless you!

Yes, be gentle on yourself. IF my experience is of any help to you, I have to really limit myself to a gradual increase in activities or I just have to back out of them all. Do as much as you can comfortably do (or with a bit of discomfort), rest, and do something else. It will get easier, but don't expect yourself to run out there and dance around.
You're on your way, and it will take time and patience.

Ok I won't expect to be tap dancing any time soon. Although the meeting went well and I followed up by emailing the club to ask if they needed any help. I will keep in mind however not to get in over my head. That is solid advice!
