After having composite white fillings befor 1and 1/2 month, I fell unusual kind of sensitivity which can occur. Here the tooth is not sensitive when i clench my teeth together, but will experience a sharp pain when food is chewed in particulars point of filling and whtn i touch. I am not clear what causes this, I went to my dentist he Replacing the filling with another composite filling but the sensitivity still now a have no hot sensitivity. My dentist
Also down x-ray but root is perfect. Ple help me……………………… :eek::confused:

Hi !
Nothing worse than dental pain! I take it the tooth is not sensitive to hot and cold drinks( normal after a filling). It sounds like you may have loosened the filling or the cavity may not have been cleaned out properly. If it keeps up then its back to the dentist! Hope it gets sorted out soon. A toothpaste specifically for sensitive teeth might help in the short term.x
