Tina 11-12-2000, 10:51 PM I would really like some information on TREATMENT AND PROCEDURES on Kidney Reflux. Sehsun 03-21-2003, 01:24 PM I have vesicoureteral reflux. I was diagnosed last fall. I got it as a result of an Acucise procedure that I had 2 years ago. If reflux is severe (such as grade 4), has no signs of getting better, or you still have infections even with antibiotics, then surgery is necessary. It involves re-implantation of the ureter to the kidney (something like that). You can also be put on antibiotics to treat any UTI's that you may have. Hope this helps! tenngal31 06-01-2004, 12:57 PM i was just diagnosed with reflux and im 31 years old i dont really know any more than you but if you have any in fo it would be greatly appreciated. katherine |
