A friend of mine has been on the same meds i believe for a very long time like years. The dr.s at her clinic sent out paperwork saying they are motoring meds to see thier effectiveness and how they are working in comparison to thier condition. Now after her going into the practice they cut her dose in half or less. Now how can they do this to somebody when thier body and everything else is adjusted to the the dose for years ect. Shouldnt they just be motoring how effective her meds are in comparison like having her come in and lowering little by little, like tappering not just cold turkey her nor her body? She should probably be getting a hirer dose. Now this happened because of only one dr. screwing up and over medicating one patient. What can she do if anything? I told her to schedule an appt. and let them know how much pain she is in because of this. Another line of advice to her is that she should maybe go gt a pain clinic and just go this route. She said she has not gave them any reason to think she is abusing ect. and she is worried if she goes to a pm doctor as she had in the past then they may take her off them comletely, but if she has no reasoning behind this she will be fine! Theonly thing is like with me they thought i was taking too much of what i was one but... because of this they in turn gaveme something that would work better in the long run without having to take too much and i feel thbat is a good thing. But i dont feel they should cut people cold turkey!
Thanks for any helf!
